“I’m doing ministry in Sibolga and then leave for a place called Nias. This place is well known for surfing, but I’ll be preaching the love of God to people. From there I’ll be spending another two weeks in Aceh almost completely Muslim area, and after that I’ll travel to a couple more places before going back home to Berastagi.

Last night I preached about God’s blessings for His children; it was wonderful to see people so happy to hear about God. Indonesian Christians are used to hear that God is sometimes happy and sometimes mad, so I started to tell them about Jesus’ death on the cross; how He brought us life and not only life, but a good one. I wish you could have seen them smile – it was like they were being set free.”

We are meant to receive from what Jesus has done for us.
