Indonesia, Asia“We just got back from a return trip out to the islands off the coast of Sumatra and our trip was full of adventure. The reason I’m happy to be alive is that one of those adventures involved ten people in a small wooden boat, no life jackets, and four-foot waves out on the sea. Yes, we almost tipped – several times. It was, however, worth it!
One of the places we visited was Mentengah. The people there are fairly primitive, uneducated, and superstitious. They live over the same river that all their garbage and refuse go into. The infant mortality rate is over fifty percent. There are so many that they even have a separate graveyard where they bury the children that die.”
We are working together to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth!

THE VISION
“This world is in desperate need of change. People live in despair, going on from day to day thinking there is nothing more out there for them. Atrocities dominate the headlines ranging from one side of the globe to the other. If there is a solution, what could it be? The only solution I can see is to change human nature. The only Person I know who can do that is Jesus. He transforms people from our fallen human state into glorious new creatures full of His life and love. He is the Hope of this World.
For the past two years most of my work has been focused towards children, rural villages, and prostitutes. From small English classes in government-run rehab centers and Muslim controlled neighborhoods, to large outdoor events – the ‘How’ is varied. What is consistent are the people who are hearing of God’s love and seeing demonstrations of His love towards them.
I leave with a new team back to Indonesia in September. I hope that you will partner with me in bringing Jesus to a World in need. Thank you for your prayers and support. God Bless.”
