AfricaReport July, 2009
“Greetings from the Union of Baptist Churches of Congo, and specially from the preachers. Through this short letter, I would like t give you reports from preachers who were supported by World Impact Ministries. First of all, we thank God and you for your prayers. The situation in eastern of DRCongo continue to be sad as the rebels from Rwanda let innocent people to move from their villages up to the rescapes camps. Before it was CNDP who were fighting with the government, now it is rebels from Rwanda in 1994.
This successive fighting and insecurity have been a handicap for the Gospel. But because God’s plan cannot fail, preachers in camps continue to proclaim the Gospel and win souls to Jesus Christ. Crusades door to door and conferences are done, even evangelism to soldiers.”

Sharing the Good News despite of the circumstances.
Report March, 2009
“Eleven preachers remain in refugee camps because of the insecurity in their respective villages. I visited them and saw the great work they are doing. Seven churches in different camps were built in tents and a good number of refugees attended to the services.
Even though the situation was not safe, preachers didn’t stop to proclaim the Good News to the unsaved and those who were backslided due to the current situation. Some preachers are committed to preach to the rebels in different villages.”
