Some Muslim leaders suggested violence would break out if we didn’t concede. This was not a vain threat. Fifteen years ago a Gospel Crusade held one hour away was cancelled resulting in violence that killed five hundred. The evangelist at that time had made an unwise statement that “God is going to tear down Islam”, and the local Muslims did not respond well. Since that time there have been no large Gospel events in this area. As recent as last year, in another region two hours away, three hundred were killed in clashes between Christians and Muslims.
Well, welcome to campaigning on the front-line. Ikara, in northern Nigeria, is an area that has been Islamic for a thousand years.

With just one hour to go, God had given us favor with the Regional Chairman of Ikara, and he arranged a meeting between myself and 31 imams, Muslim scholars and some politicians. Again God gave us favor, and the meeting ended with an official welcome to myself and our team. Once everyone understood my approach of an uncompromising Gospel, but with friendship and respect, their attitude change.

Then it was off to the first meeting. Only a few thousand were present as word had spread that our Gospel Campaign was cancelled. But at the time of the salvation call, virtually everyone responded. By the second night the attendance had at least tripled. When I prayed for the blind it was almost chaotic as the platform filled with people who had been healed, and most had been blind from between one to twenty years. It was quite spectacular.  In every service virtually 100% wanted to receive salvation provided by Jesus’ death and resurrection.

By the fifth day the area was being shaken. No Gospel outreach like this has ever been held in the region. The attendance multiplied again several times over by the last night, and many outstanding healings happened.

No one, not the politicians or the few Christians, expected a response like this. When I lead in the prayer of repentance and faith in Christ it sounded like the mighty thunder of many thousands of voices. 

One day I visited some local villages. The people live in mud huts with grass roofs. Even in the town most houses are built with mud, but they have metal roofs. The villagers received us warmly. The people, especially in the villages, practice a form of Islam mixed with spirit and ancestral worship. Africa has large cities, but the majority still live in small villages. That’s why our Pastors Seminars are so important, as we mobilize believers to reach everyone.

There are few, if any, things as rewarding to me personally as to present Jesus to people who have never heard of Him. That’s what made the Ikara Campaign so special. Our goal is clear; further north to the most Muslim areas in Nigeria.
Political Leaders

I met the Emir (king) of Kaduna state to secure his support as we aim for the huge Muslim city of Kano. From the Emir’s 600 year old palace we continued to a meeting with Governor Mohammed Nabadi Sambo, and again we were warmly received. My purpose was to also secure his support for our goal of reaching

Kano, and Governor Mohammed promised to brief the Governor of Kano on our ministry.

Kano is one of Africa’s largest cities. The campaign 15 years ago effectively put an end to Gospel advancement in northern Nigeria. Nigeria is well known for awesome revivals with huge crowds, but almost all of these are in the southern half. Yet the northern frontier remains to be taken for the Gospel. The campaign we just concluded was only one hour from Kano. Once we are successful in Kano State, there are still further northern states that also must hear the Gospel. I say, like Paul, “And so I have made it my aim to preach the Gospel, not where Christ was named, lest I should build on another man’s foundation, but as it is written: to whom He was not announced, they shall see; and those who have not heard shall understand.”

Some of those involved said it was a life changing moment when they stood on the stage and saw the crowd of Muslim people raising their hands calling out to Jesus to come into their life!

Once again… we have made history! The light of the Gospel has shone into the darkness!

When I first went to the city of Kisaran the leaders there told me it was impossible to do an event to preach the gospel there.. ‘it has never been done!’.. ‘this is a Muslim area!’.. ‘you can’t event get the permissions.’..

But like Jesus said.. ‘this is impossible with man.. but ALL things are POSSIBLE with God!”

God loves the Muslim people! He loves the people of kisaran! And so HE opened all the doors and he made it POSSIBLE!

Not only did the event happen… it was the BIGGEST event and was an amazing success! For 3 nights the crowds poured unto the field and THOUSANDS heard the gospel… most of them for the first time ever in their lives!

The crowd stretched on further than our lights could reach… but not further than the love of God can touch!

What an amazing joy to bring the gospel to these beautiful people!

On Saturday night a famous band was also playing in another field in that city.  I was a little worried they might steal some of our crowd. But no! Their field was EMPTY but ours was PACKED FULL! That’s not possibly from us… It’s ALL God! He brought them to the field! He did it ALL!

We do not stop here.. my heart is burning even stronger than ever to preach the gospel where it has never been preached before!

Rom 10:13 says “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” That is amazing… that includes ALL PEOPLE, FROM ALL RELIGONS! But don’t stop there…

Verse 14: How shall they call on Him in whom they have e not believed?

Verse 15: How shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?

Verse 16: And how shall they hear without a preacher?

Verse 17: And how shall they preach unless they are sent?

If we do not preach, they can not hear.

If they can not hear, they can not believe.

If they do not believe, they can not be saved.

Kisumu, Kenya was the location of World Impact Ministries great Gospel Festival. The meeting took place on a huge open field in the center of the city. Kisumu is located in the western part of Kenya, and was at the center of the ethnic violence in 2007/2008 when the election controversy erupted and the country was filled with riots and post election violence. News agencies reported several hundred people killed, many thousands more injured and untold thousands displaced from their homes. While the violence has since been stopped, the emotional scars of the people of Kenya, particularly Kisumu, were still very fresh.

Peter had opportunity to meet one on one with Kenya’s Prime Minister, Raila Amolo Odinga, in his personal home. Prime Minister Odinga was the “runner up” in the last election, whom many international oversight committees say was the rightful winner of the election. As Peter prayed with Prime Minister Odinga, God’s presence was very real, touching the heart of the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister later called to thank Peter, and share how touched he was by Jesus during their time together.

It was also of considerable importance when the Vice President of Kenya, Stephene Kalonzo Musyoka, joined the meetings to address the people. Again, Peter prayed for the Vice President, and shared God’s unmerited love for him. Peter says, “From the very first meeting I had with then Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, years ago, I learned that all politicians are real people with real needs, and open to receive help from Jesus.”  While some might conclude that these two political meetings were of no use, we find it mirrors the approach Jesus took during His time here on earth.

As Peter arrived in Kisumu, news agents from most every news agency in Kisumu descended on the conference room where the press conference was planned. Why national secular press agents found great interest in a Gospel event is in itself very irrational, but yet another sign of God’s hand of favor on this event.

During the press conference, Peter was peppered with questions relating to the violence, ethnic divisions and political corruption in Kenya the past year. Peter never left the message of Jesus Christ, and shared that the single greatest agent of change on earth today is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. Social agendas, while important and needed, can never replace the power of a New Creation life in Jesus. Thieves, drunkards, cheaters, etc. become contributing members of society through Jesus. Peter said, “The cross of Jesus tore down every wall of separation between people groups. Of course, for the cross to take effect we have to preach it, and that is what I am here to do in Kisumu.”

Another signature approach Peter has developed with tremendous success is an approach of friendship to people of other religions. Day one of the Gospel Festival in Kisumu saw Peter share dinner with religious leaders from Islam, Christianity and Hinduism. Pastors are always surprised when Peter takes this approach. It is uncommon, even irrational, for a “healing evangelist” to take time on the first day of the campaign to meet with leaders from different religions, but Peter sticks to Jesus’ irrational and non religious approach. At the dinner Peter shared in a loving manner that Jesus took away the sins of the world and that all can receive Him. The message was very well received, and Gospel seeds were planted in the lives of each of those present, Muslim and Hindu leaders alike.

The Gospel Festival was an astounding display of God’s love revealed for mankind. The Lord gave Peter a powerful message of simplicity that hit home with resounding power. “What is your worth?”, Peter asked the massive crowd packed on the field. “You are worth what someone is willing to pay for you,” Peter continued, the crowd intently hanging on every word. “God paid His only Son, Jesus, for you.” This profound revelation sent a stir through the crowd. People who just a year ago faced death and compete ruin, many losing loved ones and personal possessions, desperately needed to hear this remarkable truth; they are loved by God. It is not hard to imagine one can lose sight of this love through the hardships of war. It is irrational to believe that people scarred so deeply by human greed and terror could be melted once again by God’s loving embrace, but it happened during this Gospel Festival in Kisumu, Kenya.

Night after night the platform was filled with beautiful Kenyans testifying of Jesus healing their bodies. Countless stories could be relayed, but especially heart wrenching was the story of Felix and Shadrack, young brothers without parents in Kisumu to care for them. Felix had carried his younger brother to the Festival because Shadrack could not walk. Yet there Shadrack was walking under his own power. Tears streamed down Felix face as he relayed the story to Peter on the platform. Should young, unlearned boys coming to the Festival on their own be qualified to receive from Jesus? It seems Jesus thinks so.

Incredible numbers of healings could not make it to the platform to testify. One evening, as Peter was driving back from the Festival, Peter wound down his window and started talking to those walking next to the car. The moment he rolled down his window he saw a smiling man with his family. “I’m so happy, “ the man said. “My daughter has been a deaf mute and last night Jesus healed her.” Peter called the girl over to the car, and sure enough she could hear and communicate normally. Here was another example of a sensational healing that was unable to make it to the platform because of the tight throng of people gathered.

Hundreds did make it to the platform testifying of healing from blindness, tumors, wheelchairs, crutches, deafness, HIV aids and cancer. Pictures of a handful of those who were healed are available at www.PeterYoungren.org.

The call for salvation each night of the Festival was especially moving. Tears ran down the faces of many precious Kenyans, as untold thousands responded to receive Jesus as personal Savior. Follow workers worked furiously each night with the massive response, and passed out follow up books to each new believer. To think that known murders and violent offenders listened and heard the message of God’s love and became new creations in Christ offends the rational mind, yet it is true. God freely accepts whomever comes to Him and firmly adopts them into the family of Christ.

The Gospel render unspeakable power, and it most often produces quite irrational results. The Apostle Paul stated, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile” (Romans 1:16). The One Who spoke all living things into being, has given us His spoken word to plant “seeds” for the Gospel; and we see them bringing great fruit throughout the world. Often the fruit is irrational to our human thinking, but is a huge success in the Kingdom of God. Eternity will only reveal the extent of the fruit reaped as a result of this recent Gospel Campaign to Kenya.

Despite being hit by rain every night in Sorong, many thousands of Muslims and Christians alike gathered, in spite of the rain, to receive from Jesus. So many incredible miracles were seen every night. A full report to come soon.

Batam has been a sensational miracle of God’s favor. The day I was to fly into Batam from Sorong I was notified that the Festival was being cancelled due to a heightened security risk and threat of bomb attack on the Festival. I can’t tell you how disheartening this was. I know many thousands have been praying and supporting this Festival all around the globe, including you. I know thousands of volunteers in Batam have been working and praying for weeks for the Festival. Most of all, I know so many people need to meet Jesus and would be refused opportunity if the Festival was cancelled.

My friend, what happened next was truly the hand of God. As my airplane touched down in Batam, I was met by 11 Muslim journalist. We had a lengthy press conference at the airport, where I shared that I had come in friendship, to present God’s love revealed through Jesus for all people. We would attempt to build bridges of peace between all people through Jesus. Notice how I make Jesus the central issue. Not religion, not anything but Jesus. I have found that when the hardest sinner meets Jesus, all other problems quickly disappear. My job is to present Jesus as clearly as I can with the help of the Holy Spirit.

From the airport press conference I was quickly ushered to meet the chief of police and head of security intelligence for the Batam region. Again, I was able to share the same message as I shared with the 11 journalist only an hour before. The reception was beautiful. I have found that Muslims, Christians, Hindus and Buddhists are almost always open to know more about Jesus.

I wish you were physically here with me to feel the sense of jubilation when the reversal of decision came directly from the Governor, and we were allowed to proceed with the Festival. Word spread like wildfire, and the city was completely ecstatic. As I turned up for the first Festival meeting, so many thousands of Muslim friends were present. I never grow accustomed to this rare privilege of presenting Jesus to multiplied thousands of people from so many backgrounds and religions.

The story does not end here. As I was about to get up to speak, a torrential rainstorm hit the stadium. I have been preaching in outdoor Festivals for over 30 years, and rarely have I been in such a storm. The wind was fierce, and was directed straight into my face as I spoke. Thunder and lightening ripped through the open air, making any sound passing through this commotion near impossible. Yet, I could not stop and call it a night. How, could I when so many have sacrificed so much for these meetings.
CATCH THIS: My voice could barely be heard over the roar of the storm, yet the people were so anxious to receive from Jesus, they did not leave.  I didn’t even have time to greet the people on that opening night as is my custom. The storm was so bad that I launched into my message with every ounce of strength I had. Not even five minutes into the message a lame man suddenly leapt from his bed and started walking. The crowd saw him and went wild with excitement. Now my voice could not be heard at all, but quickly miracles started being realized throughout the stadium.

I never really did finish my message. There were so many miracles we started taking them one by one to testify. One incredible miracle I have to mention was a dear Mullah who was healed. What made this testimony so special was that despite the threats of bombing, cancellation and now hurricane force rain storm, so many Muslim friends and leaders came to receive from Jesus.

God’s love was manifested on the field each night to all people in Sorong. Newspapers reported each day how people from all religions and all tribes were attending and recieving miracles in the Sorong Frienship Festival! This was proved each night as Muslim friends stood on stage testifying that Jesus had done more than any doctor could ever do!

The city of Sorong has much religion, but the people are hungry for something more.  They are desperate for the good news of the gospel of God’s love and grace for them! A gospel revolution began to take place in Sorong these past few days. Not just through the festival each night. But through the Leader’s seminar each morning. Pastors and leaders were refreshed with a new revelation of what the gospel really is. Heavy burdens were lifted as Sorong began to focus not on what they could do through religion, but on what Jesus has already done for them. Many pastors left the seminar echoing the same words. “Thank you Peter Youngren!  Thank-you for reminding us that Jesus is truly Everything!”

Silence fell over the throng of people gathered on the large open field in Karachi, Pakistan this past week at the Friendship Festival hosted by Pastor Peter Youngren. The tens of thousands gathered had come to receive from Jesus, and were thrown into silence as Pastor Peter’s voice rang out over the tightly packed field.

“Everything that God has…. His power, His healing, His forgiveness… He sent in Jesus. Receive Jesus and receive life, power, healing and forgiveness. It is yours today.”

As this simple, yet profound revelation sank in, the crowd slowly started to respond, and soon exploded into a raucous celebration as they realized the answer to their prayers was much closer than they had ever imagined. The answer was not in a prayer, technique or religion, but in a person…. JESUS. Whether Christian, Muslim, Hindu or Buddhist, all need Jesus, and all can call on Him, and He will answer.
Set against a backdrop of terror and national “Red Alert” precipitated by impending suicide bomb attacks, Karachi Friendship Festival - October 1-5, 2008 - was an incredible success. On September 20, 2008, only ten (10) days before Pastor Peter’s Gospel Festival, a suicide bomber set off a bomb at the Marriott hotel in Islamabad that killed many foreigners and government officials. This set off a string of bombings in other cities around Pakistan, including Karachi, the sight of Pastor Peter’s Gospel Festival. The Pakistani government and the United Nations security counsel told all foreigners to leave the country of Pakistan or avoid any public place due to these bomb blasts.

Despite the impending danger, Pastor Peter was miraculously able to conduct a sensational five (5) day Gospel Festival in Karachi. Mandatory security was imposed on Pastor Peter and the Festival. Every person entering the Festival grounds had to pass through a metal detector and was hand searched for weapons or bombs. The security went so far as to check people for weapons with a hand metal detector before they came to the stage to testify of healings. Pastor Peter was ordered to have personal security and was surrounded by armed bodyguards everywhere he moved.

Through all the threats and security issues, the people of Pakistan packed the Festival venue full every night. Massive lines formed for hundreds of meters outside the field as people waited to enter through the metal detectors. People from every background and religion passed peaceably through the gates, and there were no incidents the entire week of the Festival. The final night of the Festival the crowd packed the field so tightly that Pastor Peter had to leave the field by climbing a ladder over the back wall of the field. His normal exit would have been impossible to pass through.
Media coverage of the Gospel Festival was astounding. In a country that is 96% Islamic, it is typically very difficult to get the media’s attention for a Gospel event. A TV reporter from Samaa TV, a national TV network in Pakistan, said she had never seen such a large crowd, and the same TV station aired the final night of the Festival LIVE to the entire nation. This was a first in Pakistan.  The two largest newspapers in the country carried the Festival adverts on the front page, and TV reporters interviewed Pastor Peter daily. Every day reporters from various news organizations including Geo TV, the largest TV news provider in Pakistan, reported the Festival. A local Muslim talk show invited Pastor Peter to be on their program, where he was given opportunity to share about Jesus.
Incredible miracles were seen every single night of the Festival. The stage was filled with more testimonies that could possibly be reported, and hundreds more who were healed were not even able to reach the platform. People from every background and religion were healed.

One especially touching story took place on the last night of the Festival. Mrs. Zubadia and her daughter, Thamina had heard the news reports of the Festival, and had traveled 1800 km from their home in Abbadabad. The trip had taken them three (3) days on a train. Thamina was blind, and hearing that Jesus was healing people in Karachi, nothing would stop them from attending the meeting. Mrs. Zubadia and Thamina were from a Muslim home, and after having testified to the crowd of the healing, Mrs. Zubadia offered Pastor Peter money for her daughter’s healing. Pastor Peter took the opportunity to share with Mrs. Zubadia and the entire crowd that Jesus gives freely, and asks nothing in return. It was a powerful testimony of Jesus free gift for all people.

Tangible hunger for God was felt in both the Festival and the Pastor’s Seminar. Several thousand delegates packed out the Gospel Revolution Seminar tent each morning to hear revelation from God’s work. Pastor Peter was joined by special ministers from Finland, Pastor David Sterling, and Norway, Reverend Mary Felde, and together they ministered God’s grace and love to the pastors. Already long-term plans are being laid by Pastor Peter and World Impact Ministries to form a Bible College in Pakistan to continue propagating the Good News.
Thank you friend for your support. In an age of increasing religious tension that is flowing over into geopolitical relations, the message of God’s grace and love for all people is the only message that can cut through the clutter of voices and produce lasting results. As Peter Youngren watched these horrific scenes on the CNN and BBC, he clearly heard the Lord speak to him that he must go to Kenya now. Peter had frequented Kenya many previous times for Festivals/Seminar in the early 2000’s, but had since moved on to other countries whom were predominantly Islamic. Yet, when God speaks, one must obey. Immediately Peter had his representative, Rev Paul Cowell, travel to Kenya to survey the situation and meet key leaders. Rev. Cowell met with the Kenyan Vice President Kalonzo who implored him to tell Peter he must come now. He shared how physical aid was vital, but spiritual, mental and physiological aid was also desperately needed. Rev. Cowell also met with the pastors in Eldoret who with tears running down their faces rejoiced that God would speak to Peter Youngren at a time like this. Immediately plans were laid for the Eldoret Friendship Festival and Gospel Revolution Seminar. Anticipation was sky high.

During the months that followed Peter took to the airwaves to share the need to his partners and friends around the world. The response was astounding. Supporters from all walks of life, both young and old, expressed their support for the efforts in Eldoret. God’s hand of favor was on this Festival and Seminar in a special way. Only God knew the true significance of what was about to happen, but all could sense something meaningful was about to happen.

Several days before the commencement of the Festival and Seminar in Eldoret, Peter and his wife RoxAnne flew into Kenya’s capital Nairobi with his television producer and pastor friends from USA and Finland. Peter’s advance team was there to meet him and take him to a national press conference. TV, newspapers and radio press agents hung on Peter’s every word and subsequently report of the revolutionary friendship approach Peter was taking.

Immediately after the national press conference in Nairobi Peter was taken to meet the former president of Kenya, President Moi, who ruled Kenya for many years until recent. With President Moi Peter shared that he was not there to speak of “morality” or “wisdom”, but to lift up the cross of Christ alone through which both morality and wisdom would automatically flow. The meeting was a wonderful success.

Finally the moment thousands had been waiting for. Peter was flying on to Eldoret. Upon arriving at the airport Peter was thronged by Pastors, thankful for his coming to their city at a time like this. They had seen and heard the press reports from the national press conference in Nairobi, which only served to heighten their anticipation of the forthcoming meetings in Eldoret.

From the airport a welcome parade snaked its way through the city of Eldoret to the venue for Peter’s second national press conference in as many days. Upon arriving at the venue for the press conference Peter and team had to fight their way to get into the room, which had become jammed with press agents eager to get a story from this historic occasion.

Day one of the Festival and Seminar saw pastors from every corner of Kenya arrive to attend the Gospel Revolution Seminar with Peter Youngren and international guests from USA and Finland. Pastors, having heard of what God was doing, came from the Western Coast, Tanzania, Northern Border and Uganda. Something unique was in the air. The three-day Seminar was certainly not to disappoint.

A spiritual explosion took place on day two of the Seminar. Pastors would later share how they had come into bondage through erroneous teachings by recognized teachers in Kenya. Teachings that espoused the belief that God had brought the violence in Kenya to punish them for their sins. Pastors shared openly how they had been afraid to confront what they knew to be false doctrine because of fear and discouragement. As Peter shared that God was not angry, but had poured out His wrath on Jesus 2000 years ago, and was now a Father of hugs and kisses, the seminar delegates exploded in a joy and excitement that is not easily relayed in writing. Imagine for a moment having devoted your life to a cause, as had these pastors committed themselves to the Gospel, only to think that it had been somewhat in vain, and God was now angry at you. Then imagine yourself coming to the realization that this was simply not true, and God’s love and favor was still shining brightly upon you, and would turn what the devil meant for evil to good. This slightly touches the sensation of joy and ecstasy the pastors expressed.     

      At the conclusion of the second day of teaching, one leading Bishop in the country took the mike from Peter and began to declare his own similar testimony. This only heightened the sense of freedom felt by the pastors as one of their own openly put to rest the devastating theological travesty that had begun to grip their country and empty out their churches. Later pastors would share that Peter had put them in a positive, yet challenging position, in their theological thinking. “You have provoked us to think and to develop a sharpness of following Christ”, shared one pastor. Another pastor reported how the following Sunday he stood before his church and openly apologized saying, “Sorry for not talking about Jesus in my sermons. From now on I will speak only of Jesus.” The simplicity of the Gospel gripped the hearts and minds of each pastor who attended.

Running hand in hand with the seminar was the large scale Gospel Festival. Publicity had penetrated the region for the previous months, and again expectations were high. Not since the skirmishes earlier that year, had any gathering brought together people from different tribal/ethnic backgrounds. Most of the population had seen the first hand the atrocities, and had witnessed loved ones killed. A deep trauma had set into the minds of the population. Many had left the region, leaving those who remained with a sense of hopelessness and despair.

Despite heavy rains at the commencement of the Festival, crowds eager to hear of God’s, packed the field. As the sun shone brightly on the concluding day of the Festival, a new sense of optimism and hope began to sprout up among the masses gathered. Each day they heard Peter share that God was not angry, and then witnessed God touch the bodies of hundreds of sick and hurting. Thousands came to Jesus to be born again each night. Leaders shared how this type of crowd had not been seen in Eldoret for as long as they could remember.

Having heard the astounding reports from Eldoret, Vice President Kalonzo invited Peter to join him at this office at the State House in Nairobi. There Peter again shared that the Cross of Jesus was the solution to all Kenya’s problems. He shared that this was in no way to make light of the situation, but there was no more weighty solution that Jesus.

Plans are being laid for follow up networks among the pastors and leaders of Kenya to ensure this Gospel of Grace continues to be spread throughout the entire nation. You made this possible! Only by God’s divine favor did this Festival take place for Peter Youngren and World Impact Ministries. In November 2007 Peter and his team met with the Governor of Kaduna State, Governor Arch Mohammed Namadi Sambo, at the Governor’s request. The Governor had heard of the friendship approach Peter took towards other religions and officially welcomed Peter and World Impact Ministries to Northern Nigeria. This invitation paved the way for preparations in Zaria, Nigeria.

“Through this divine favor from the Lord, doors, previously closed for at least a thousand years, were opened wide.“
Peter was able to meet the top Islamic leader for Zaria, the Emir of Zaria, in his palace. That same day Peter met with religious leaders from both the Christian and Islamic faith at a Friendship Dinner. The Islamic leaders welcomed Peter to the city with open arms having heard of the incredible favor he had also received November 2007 from the political and religious leaders in Kaduna, Nigeria.

At each meeting with both religious and political leaders Peter was strong in both his message of friendship as well as his faith. Peter clearly outlined the similarities and differences between Islam and Christianity (read Peter’s book, “My Muslim Friends” for details). However, he highlighted the need for common respect and friendship as fellow human beings, while at the same time recognizing there are differences. God’s hand of favor was on Peter as he shared. Both Christian and Islamic leaders welcomed the message with great enthusiasm. Religious tensions and violence had previously plagued this region of Northern Nigeria, and the approach of peace and friendship was a welcome respite.

The Zaria Friendship Festival was a four-day event held on a massive polo field at the center of the city. The Festival was combined with a three day Pastors and Leaders Seminar. The Festival was incredibly well intended (see photo report), and leaders claimed it was the single largest gathering in the recorded history of Zaria. The Festival was carried on local radio throughout the entire region. This was a first for the city of Zaria. Only God’s favor can explain how and why these events all took place.

Each evening of the Festival hundreds were healed in their bodies. The very first miracle to come on stage the first night was a 30-year old man deaf since birth. His ears were opened, and he could hear. Every night the field was filled with more testimonies that could possibly be interviewed. The local leaders were in amazement as many Muslim friends were healed each night of the Festival. Some leaders commented that there were perhaps more Muslim friends healed that even Christian. Such was the incredible favor of God present on this Festival.  Friendship follow up material was distributed to over 60,000 people during the Festival.

The Pastors and Leaders Seminar saw Baptist, Pentecostal, Catholic and Anglican pastors and leaders join together to receive teaching from Peter and the team of pastors he brought with him from Finland to minister. Pastor Samuel Kujiyat, a pastor for over 30 years, commented after the Seminar concluded that this was the message he had been search for his whole life. He was not alone in his enthusiastic comments.

Northern Nigeria has been known as a place where preachers are unwelcome, but God’s hand of favor is changing history. God’s message of love and peace is resonating with unmistakable clarity.

Pastor Peter and World Impact Ministries are currently conducting a ONE MILLION SOULS Campaign. The most recent Festival in Bali, Indonesia was a mighty example of what God can do in a Muslim and Hindu culture. As the pictures show, vast crowds filled the stadium day after day. In fact, the stadium was packed from the first night, with tens of thousands responding to salvation daily. The announcement from Pastor Peter that the sins of the people had been blotted out with one sacrifice was received with joy, as the people repented of their dead works.

From high-ranking Political Leaders, to society’s seemingly lowest citizens, to prominent Religious Leaders, Pastor Peter has been a witness for God’s love through Jesus to multiplied thousands. Adopting a method of presenting a person, Jesus, rather than a religion, many thousands have received freely from Jesus, both forgiveness of sins and healing in their bodies.

Many said they had never heard of Jesus… NOT EVEN ONCE BEFORE. Some of those healed said that when they first heard the “Hallelujah” chorus they thought the name of “our god” was “hallelujah”. When our TV crew visited the home of one lady healed of a tumor, she told them she had never heard of Jesus before this Festival, and was initially confused by the singing of the song “Hallelujah”. However, after Pastor Peter’s preaching everyone understood very clearly that Jesus is both Saviour and Healer.

In a country where Pantheism and Islam thrive side by side, the Gospel cuts through all religions. Every home and business on the island is instructed by law to have an altar to the gods believed to reside on the property. The people are instructed to make offerings three times a day on the altars. If they disobey this, it is believed that the gods will become angry and cause sickness and tragedy.

Given the fact that most Balinese spiritual leaders practice a form of magic, it was quite natural initially that the newspapers wrote, “Peter Youngren has magic powers.” Peter wasted no time in making everyone aware that it was JESUS alone who deserved all the attention.

INCREDIBLE MIRACLES ABOUND

Each night four medical doctors were present to check and validate the healings. Patients were given extensive tests by the doctors to verify the miracles, which only further served to give glory to Jesus.

One night a large number of lame were healed, including two Hindu priests and one Buddhist priest. We visited one of the Hindu priests in his home the next day. Incredible joy filled his face as he described what Jesus had done. His entire family gathered around him as he, in great detail, told the story of Jesus healing his body.

Each day the stadium became more crowded with the sick and hurting streaming into the Festival. Many traveled for hours just to attend the Festival having heard the astounding reports or miracles being reported through the TV, newspapers and radio.

A MESSAGE OF HOPE

Pastor Peter boldly proclaimed God’s love and grace, “Good News Bali, Jesus has done something good for you…. He became your substitute…. from sin to righteousness, from sickness to health, from darkness to light…. Jesus has done it for you!” This message contrasted sharply with the message spread by religion, “you are not good enough”, “the gods are angry”, and “your sickness and suffering is a result of your own errors”. You can imagine how the people felt hearing Pastor Peter say, “It does not matter what you have done. Jesus listens to your cry. Jesus cares.” One local pastor said, “Peter Youngren is like a battering ram. He cuts through all the religious talk, and presents a crystal clear picture of Jesus to the people.”

A Mighty Gospel Net

Combined with the Pastors Seminar, the Gospel Festivals are bringing in a tremendous harvest of souls. Sensational amounts of people are receiving Jesus, and thousands of pastors and leaders are being trained in the Gospel. Pastor Peter is able to impart to the pastors and leaders the revelation that God has supernaturally given him. Churches and pastors are catching the message and running with it on their own. One church reports having meetings where a majority of those attending are from the Muslim faith. This particular church is now one of the fastest growing churches in the nation. Another pastor now conducts his own Festivals throughout Indonesia with fantastic results.

Suddenly, the child stopped breathing and stiffened in her arms. Frantically, the mother looked for help, passing the child to strangers in the crowd, then rushed to the platform and threw the limp body onto the stage screaming in Swahili, “There is no one like Jesus! There is no one like Jesus!” Overcome with emotion, she fainted and collapsed on the ground under the platform.

Five days earlier, thousands of Tanzanians of all ages and backgrounds gathered in the largest stadium in Moshi, a city nestled beneath snow-tipped Mount Kilimanjaro in East Africa. The sick and needy listened eagerly to Peter Youngren as he spoke of Jesus being their faith. He put no pressure on the sick to try to produce faith, but encouraged them to look to Jesus only.

Freedom and healing came as the people realized that if they had little or no faith, anyone could be healed by calling on Jesus, the source of faith. Physical and spiritual miracles occurred every night as the masses of Moshi relied on the faith of Jesus to receive both healing and salvation.

NINE STUDENTS BORN BLIND Among the more spectacular miracles, teenage sisters Lilian and Gertrude Amos were healed from total blindness since birth. It was a remarkable testimony, especially since the teacher who brought them from the School of the Blind gave witness to their healing.

The next night she brought the entire class and 9 more students were healed, 7 blind since birth and 2 albino children partially blind. One by one they walked up the ramps unassisted, looking around in amazement at the thousands of people they were seeing for the first time.

As they demonstrated their healing on the platform, a stunned silence hung over the people before they erupted in incredible shouts of praise to Jesus.

DISRUPTION BY A DESPERATE MOTHER Halfway through the testimony service on the final night, Peter Youngren was interrupted by Bishop Emmanuel Lazaro, the General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God in Tanzania for over 30 years. He was bursting with emotion, carrying a little child in his arms. Ten minutes earlier, many of the team members and other pastors on the platform had seen the mother throw her baby on the platform.

They became fearful, thinking this was not a good testimony for the media present. A dead corpse left on the platform would look bad indeed! As the other pastors prayed, Bishop Lazaro rushed into the crowd looking for the mother to persuade her to take her child away, not knowing she had fainted beneath the platform. The sweet presence of Jesus swept over the mass of people, and the child returned to life and began to breathe again, looking around with clear eyes, healed of brain damage as well. It was an amazing miracle, especially with so many eyewitnesses who had held and seen the lifeless body.

Even more wonderful, the mother received salvation that night for the first time, adding her voice to the tens of thousands of people who acknowledged Jesus as Savior during the Gospel festival.

Words cannot describe the awe and gratitude the ministry team felt toward Jesus, the Creator of all living things. Peter expressed it in words that were the closest, “Jesus is so wonderful. He makes me want to laugh and cry at the same time.”

God’s grace is available to everyone. An example of this grace is found in Ephesians 2:8,9. This is the grace by which we are saved and live a life of victory.

However, there are also specific gifts that grace bestows upon us. Romans 12:3-6 speaks of these gifts.

Note how in the scripture listed above, Galatians 2:9, these specific gifts are recognizable. The Apostle Paul was given a specific grace for revealing Jesus to the Gentile world, which was recognized by the other apostles.

While there was much involved and included in Paul’s gift, simply stated, he was empowered to bring Jesus to the Gentiles. This gifting or grace brought him before the highest kings and the most learned scholars.

Pastor Joseph Prince, pastor of one of the largest and fastest growing churches in Singapore, was our recent guest at Fire Conference 06 in Ontario, Canada. During one of his teaching sessions he pointed out the unique grace on Pastor Peter’s life and ministry. Pastor Prince stated that many evangelists come through South East Asia, but very few have the sheer favor among the political and religious leaders as does Pastor Peter. Even those from other religions recognize and respect the gifting God has put on Pastor Peter’s life.
Pastor Prince was reminding us of the great privilege we each have to be a part of this incredible ministry of grace God has given to Pastor Peter…. a grace to reveal Jesus to the nations. Like the Apostle Paul, involved in this gifting is favor among leaders around the globe, in effect influencing entire nations.

Friends, we are all part of this same grace. In Philippians 1:7 the Apostle Paul is writing a thank you letter for the Philippians supporting him in the work he was doing for the Gospel. He tells them, “you are all partakers with me of grace”.

Just this past week at our Anatananarivo Festival 06 in Madagascar, Pastor Peter was ushered into the office of the second most powerful man in the country, the President of the Senate. For over 30 minutes he shared God’s love with this leader and finished in prayer. God’s presence was tangibly felt as he left the President’s office.

Pastor Peter’s meeting with the leader of Madagascar was only the most recent in a long list of leaders Pastor Peter has had the privilege to influence with the Gospel.

We thank the Lord for the unbelievable grace He has given us and allowed us to be a part of. We too are partakers of this gift of grace! What a privilege! What an honor!

Immediately following the first day of our Festival in Jayapura, Indonesia reports spread like wild fire across the region detailing the astounding miracles that took place the first night of the Festival.

The largest newspaper in the area ran a front page story featuring the miracle we reported to you in our last Impact Minute update regarding the man who fell out of a coconut tree. He had come to the Festival directly from the hospital and rose up out of his wheel chair healed.

We would have a difficult time to find proper adjectives to adequately describe the impact felt across the province, which is in the midst of tough political change.

Such was the influence realized that Pastor Peter was invited to speak to the Papuan Parliament. It was remarkable to see veteran politicians moved to tears as God’s presence touched their lives through the words Pastor Peter presented. He skillfully relayed the love of God to each politician’s own individual situation despite their rank or position. The moment was historical and unforgettable as he led the entire assembly in a prayer to receive God’s forgiveness, love and grace. The Governor, who had met Pastor Peter at the airport on arrival, and opened the first night of the Festival, came to the airport as Pastor Peter was leaving Jayapura. As they prayed together tears of gratitude ran down the Governor’s face as God’s love touched his heart.

Not to be overshadowed by any of the other noteworthy activities were the final two days of our Pastor’s seminar. As Pastor Peter challenged the pastors to take the attitude of Jesus and love all people including their Muslim population, revelation sunk deep into their hearts. “This is what you have prayed and fasted for”, he proclaimed. Pastors whom had been in ministry for years wept for the lost in their nation. They exclaimed they had never heard such profound wisdom and insight into the Gospel.

Spurred by the notable miracles on day one of the Festival in Jayapura, the massive crowd continued to swell for the second and third day overflowing well outside the boundaries of the soccer stadium. Many traveled from great distances to receive from God. It was not hard to feel the tangible hunger to receive from God among the population of Jayapura.

Like a calm before the storm, the multitude of people listened in complete silence, hanging on every syllable as Pastor Peter slowly but with tremendous authority proclaimed the healing prayer out over the mass of people. “The words that I speak are words of life. RECEIVE FROM JESUS NOW!”

As suddenly as the words were spoken, like a tidal wave of emotion, the crowd erupted into a mighty roar as people began to realize their healing across the stadium.

Invited to come and testify what Jesus had done for their bodies those who had been healed thronged the platform in such numbers it was impossible to interview them all. An incredible number of reports were received the next day of healings that had taken place which never made it to the platform to testify. “The hundreds of miracles we have seen each night are wonderful, but the greatest miracle possible is NEW LIFE from Jesus.” These were the words spoken as Pastor Peter led the crowd in a prayer to receive Jesus’ righteousness. Thousands upon thousands of precious Indonesians lifted their hands signifying their desire to receive this awesome gift from God.

We give all thanks and praise to Jesus, without Whom none of the remarkable wonders we have seen would be remotely possible.

To somewhat understand the sheer excitement and significance of this event, please allow me to describe the history of Bali.
Called the “island of gods”, Bali is a spiritually intriguing area and the location of our incredibly historic Gospel Festival this week (June 19-22). The front of every building in Bali is adorned by an idol erected to appease their many gods. Offerings are made to the idols several times a day to bring favor from the gods.

While located in Indonesia, the world’s largest Muslim country, Bali is an exception with a population that is over 90% Hindu. Less that 2% believe in Jesus.
This is an incredible opportunity for the Gospel in an area many would call unreached. We are honored to be conducting the first large outdoor Gospel meeting in the history of Bali.

The initial day began with a press conference where reporters peppered Pastor Peter with questions. “How and why do you plan on Christianizing Bali”, one reporter inquired. Wisely replying to this legitimate question, Pastor Peter explained that he was not here to promote a religion. He was here to represent Jesus, Who is alive today and Who would show Himself alive today healing people this week.

By 3pm the first day the sick and hurting began gathering in the large soccer stadium for the Festival that would not start until 6pm. The excitement and expectation was palpable as Pastor Peter took the platform before a packed stadium. Only the overflow areas remained for the crowd to grow in following nights.

The crowd hung on every word as Pastor Peter presented Jesus TODAY. New Life…. TODAY. Healing…... TODAY. Not a theory. Not a story. A reality…. TODAY.

“Papa, you want to walk. You imagine yourself walking, but you find it hard to have faith. It’s ok. There is One Who believes. His faith is perfect. You can be healed. Jesus heals you,” Pastor Peter declared to a man sitting in a wheelchair 10 meters from the stage.

Even before he could finish the powerful prayer for the sick, clusters of celebration erupted around the stadium as people realized their healings. The stage quickly became full to overflowing with beautiful Balinese people coming to testify what Jesus had done for their body.

The very first miracle to testify was a young boy brought by his father. The boy had been deaf since birth, but had now received his hearing. This was the first of many deaf ears opened.

This was a Gospel celebration that will not soon be forgotten. At such moments it is as if time stands still. All current, past or future circumstances become a distant memory in light of the incomparable joy and hope found in Jesus.

Thousands of Hindu, Christian and Muslim friends filled the stadium beyond capacity night after night. Several Hindu priests sat on the front row to receive healing from Jesus the last night of the Festival. Every evening many people from every religion were healed and demonstrated their healing on stage.

The stadium manager told us he had never hosted a crowd this size in his stadium for any event.

From the Governor of Bali, to the Hindu priests, to the former King of Bali, all expressed sincere gratitude and thanks for Pastor Peter coming.

In an area where less than 2% of the people profess a belief in Jesus, it would be an understatement to say that this was a historical Festival. Many of Pastor Peter’s festivals are noteworthy. This one was special. It was ground breaking…the first ever in the area… what a fantastic success for Jesus!

From the state run National TV and radio to the Buddhist funded TV station, Jesus was put before the people of Mongolia this past week during Mongolia Festival 2006 through live Festival broadcasts and interviews to the entire nation. This was the first live broadcast of this nature to the nation.

Even before the Festival began, skepticism was received from numerous leaders, both political and religious, that this event would even be possible in the current political and religious climate. It has been only 15 years since the fall of Communism, and religious freedoms are still only being realized.

Yet despite the opposition Jesus brought incredible favor and victory. Mongols would see a Jesus that is alive and actively working in their midst. The believers would receive newfound strength and awareness. Most importantly God’s unearned, unmerited love would be revealed to a nation.

Many local pastors had a difficult time believing that miracles could really happen. Having rarely seen miracles this was quite understandable. They realized that not only their reputations but also their very lives were on the line if miracles were to fail. Local organizers had been told before the Festival that if the miracles did not take place as the massive advertising campaign claimed, they would be thrown in jail for misleading the public.

The very first night of the Festival the response to Pastor Peter’s message was one of cautious optimism. Yes, many were healed, and the crowd was elated with joy, but there were still those who maintained their skepticism towards the veracity of the miracles taking place.
Yet, as Pastor Peter continued to proclaim God’s goodness and love for all people night after night, the walls of unbelief were shattered until even the most ardent skeptic was heralding the miracles as true, notable occurrences.

On the fourth night of the Festival a lady wearing dark black sunglasses was led into the stadium by her younger brother. She had lost sight in both of her eyes and desperately needed an operation to restore sight, however, finances did not allow the needed treatment. Despite circumstance, she received sight in her eyes, and testified of what Jesus had done for her. The next day the state run TV station went to her home hoping to discredit the miracle she claimed. Yet to their amazement they discovered the miracle was true. After interviewing family and neighbors alike, they could only conclude that Jesus had healed this young lady. This interview was relayed to the entire nation during prime time television the next day.

Testimony after testimony could be relayed of the miraculous healings that took place in Mongolia this past week. So many blind eyes and deaf ears were healed. A certain man, who could not walk due to liver cancer, he had been brought in a car directly from the hospital. He was now standing on the platform testifying that Jesus had healed his body.

The ensuing celebration was of national proportions. Reports were received from around the nation of God’s love and healing power touching lives. Pastors who had expressed doubt at the beginning of the week were now among the most avid supporters of the Festival. As fireworks closed the final night of the Festival in Mongolia a new reality for the church was realized.

On the final days of the Festival Pastor Peter traveled to a remote area of Mongolia. Here he is sitting in front of a Ger, a traditional home of the nomadic people of Mongolia. Along with his interpreter, Pastor Peter is able to share the Gospel with these beautiful Mongols.
Friends, we have said it on many occasions, but without your support we could not go to the nations. You are taking the Gospel to areas that have had very little Gospel exposure. You are making this great harvest of souls possible.

He affirmed his belief in Jesus Christ before the people, encouraging them to believe God’s message of love and forgiveness.

Forgiveness is a difficult word for the people of Burundi. How does someone forgive those who murdered their family? Johnson, one of our team interpreters, testified that he was full of revenge toward the killers of 70 of his family members until he had a revelation of how much Christ had forgiven him. The love of Christ brought healing and change, and he offered the killers a job on his farm as an act of unconditional forgiveness.
Over a thousand pastors joined us for a 3-day seminar designed to empower leaders to lead a Gospel Revolution in their city and village. They committed to impart the fresh revelation to their congregations.

One pastor personally shared how his view toward unbelievers had changed and he was ready to win them for Jesus. Miracles flooded the platform every night and thousands responded to salvation. You could sense a willingness and eagerness in the people to be reconciled to God and receive Christ’s forgiveness. After 11 years, they were weary of holding bitterness and hurt in their heart and were ready to forgive. One of the notable miracles was a little girl named Nyabenda, paralyzed and twisted since birth.

The masses rejoiced in her healing, but greater joy was experienced by Sarah, the sister who had carried her for 8 long years and watched her limbs straighten and strengthen before her eyes. The final evening, pastors and bishops from many denominations shared over dinner how the Bujumbura festival had impacted their lives, churches, and community. Hope for the future was strong as they talked about uniting together to see every person in Burundi know Christ as their personal Savior.

Driving through the city on the nights of the festival, you would have wondered if anyone had lived there. Night after night the crowd would grow so thick it overflowed into the streets. People hungry to receive came hours early to ensure good seating. Every night there was an explosion of the Gospel and miracles. Every night lives were claimed for heaven!

The festival was broadcast live on the radio. Reports came back that many Muslim children were listening to the program. Even though they had not attended the festival physically, they were there in spirit and received the Gospel with great joy and excitement.

Villages, hard to reach because of poor road conditions, heard of the festival. One particular couple traveled 4 hours to receive healing. After the cost of the journey, they only had enough taxi money to attend one night. However, there was no need to attend again after the husband’s hearing was restored on the first night! One family wept tears of joy as they told the story of their mother’s blindness. She was scheduled for surgery but after attending the festival she could see again. The family couldn’t afford the surgery. When asked how much her healing cost her, she answered with a huge smile on her face, “Nothing!”

Those who received healing in their bodies were encouraged to come to the front and share with everyone what God had done for them. On the last night, Peter attempted to close the 4-day festival but was interrupted many times with yet another testimony so great that it had to be shared. The daughter of a local politician came weeping to the front to testify of how she could hear after being deaf for many years. A constant flow of tears streamed down her face while her hands were raised giving thanks unto God. No longer did she need a hearing aid that she held in her hand. While Peter and the crowd were dancing and singing, almost to the point of exhaustion, giving glory unto the Lord for what He had done, a Muslim woman began to experience strength come into her lame body that had been weak for many years. Little by little she began to move. Acknowledging that Jesus had touched her body, she began dancing and running and didn’t want to stop.

World Impact Ministries strives to make an impact through the Gospel, one nation, city, tribe, village, and person at a time. Many people had come so far away from different tribes and villages. Some places so remote that the only way to get there is by a small prop plane. We will never really know the true impact that took place in Manokwari. This was only the beginning, as the people go back to their villages and share with those, who could not make the journey, of what happened at the festival.

Local estimates reported over 3000 people marching in the parade. Despite torrential rain the week before, the festival opened strong with almost the entire city present at the Sinapuk field. Villagers walked in from the surrounding mountain regions and camped on the grounds for the duration. Faith for miracles was at a peak, since over a month prior to the festival, video footage was projected onto white sheets in the marketplaces with large crowds gathering to watch healing testimonies from other Indonesian festivals. The first healing of the first day was Pandi, a teenager completely deaf and mute since birth. Beaming from ear to ear with smiles, she began to repeat sounds and learn words for the first time. Others from her village testified that she was faithful to attend church even though she could not hear the music or sermons.

Tremendous miracles flooded the platform daily, especially with those once blind, now made whole by Jesus. Fourteen years old, Urbanus Wandik was one of them. A childhood fever followed by witchcraft cures left him completely blind 12 years earlier. His father led Urbanus everywhere; they flew to a hospital but the doctors said it was too late for treatment. Together they went to the festival the first day, but Urbanus was not healed, nor the second day. The father was disheartened and thought to himself, “Why should I go?” But they went the third day again and that evening, after the second healing testimony, Urbanus turned to his father and said, “Papa, I can see, I can see!” Lives were changed and hearts impacted for the 800 pastors and church leaders attending the 3-day Gospel Revolution seminar. In one of the sessions, I preached about God being the Father of hugs and kisses, referring to the parable of the prodigal son. When the prodigal faced the choice to either stay with the swine or leave, many of the leaders laughed because in Papuan culture, pigs are the more obvious choice of value! In a farewell dinner, Pastor Dorman, the festival chairman, was overcome with the goodness of God and spoke with tears, echoing the sentiments of those seated around him. “In the 50 years since the Gospel first came to Wamena, we have never seen miracles. Now with our own eyes we have seen the power of God at work and are more bold to share Jesus with others. Thank you for demonstrating God’s love in action for all people.”

God’s love demonstrated through Jesus is available for every man and woman, regardless of culture, background or religion. Still two hours before the festival was to start and already a steady stream of umbrellas were making their way slowly up the hill to Sokoine field. The shower lessened slightly as the music band and choir danced and sang in the drizzling rain. The people listened intently to Peter Youngren as he declared Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever. Their mood could not be dampened despite the rain. They cheered and shouted when 15-year-old Kasumo testified of his miracle. The boy had been paralyzed for 2 years, unable to bathe, clothe, or feed himself. His father was a pastor sitting on the platform, and was shocked to suddenly see his son walk up the ramp without assistance, completely healed! As dusk began, the atmosphere of faith only intensified as Mrs. Abraham testified of her miracle: healed of total blindness after 5 years.

He didn′t want to be recognized as a Muslim and so took his white hat off and hid it in his clothing. His interest grew as Peter Youngren preached that Jesus is alive and ready to save and heal in Tanga. When the time came for healing, he obediently placed his hand over his eyes and waited for the prayer to finish. Taking his hand away, he was surprised to find that his eyesight was clear! Still skeptical, he asked the woman next to him to give him something to read, knowing that he had not been able to read for many years.

The woman handed him a Salvation book in Swahili and he started to read the first chapter out loud to her. The crowd cheered and laughed as he picked up his hat and placed it back on his head, saying, ″I am a Muslim but today Jesus has healed me!″ The next morning, he woke up in his home and wondered if it was all a dream. He decided to test the healing of his sight again, and in front of his family, threaded a needle for the first time in many years.

Sure enough, when he prayed for the sick, miracles happened all over the festival grounds. Screaming and shouting excitedly, hundreds of Congolese streamed toward the spots where the miracles were happening. Chaos ensued as soldiers beat back the crowd away from the speaker towers, until Dr. Youngren asked those who had been healed to come to the front to share what God had done. Dozens of miracles occurred as God confirmed His word with signs and wonders. A deaf/mute boy spoke for the first time in his life.

Cripples threw away their crutches. Deaf ears were opened. A woman who had walked stooped for many years straightened up as Jesus healed her spine. Dr. Youngren announced, Today, all things are possible!
